Every mom of a neurodivergent kid NEEDS other moms of neurodivergent kids around. Every day is balanced: managing school meetings, therapy appointments, and medical visits while ensuring kids receive the required support. Finding the right programs and services remains a constant struggle due to limited accessibility, long waitlists and a general lack of awareness in the community. Navigating the complexities of parenting, such as social isolation, is another challenge that parents and guardians of kids with special needs face. Families enjoy sharing their experiences and try to be around families who have the same situation as us to be supportive and empathic. Social connections and seeking a community of life is the best way to find relief and reduce the barriers.
