Wazhma Sahle
I am a dedicated multilingual community service worker with over a decade of experience supporting refugees and newcomers in the Toronto GTA area. Throughout my career, I have worked with various non-profit organizations and community centers, providing essential services and advocacy to help individuals integrate into Canadian society. My journey began in Russia, where I grew up and pursued my education. After living and studying in Russia, I moved to Colombia and later to Canada, where I have continued my work in community service. I hold a degree from MGU (Moscow Government University) and furthered my education in Canada as a community worker at George Brown College. I am fluent in five languages: Dari, Farsi, Russian, Spanish, and English, which has allowed me to serve as a translator for diverse communities. I have helped individuals from different backgrounds by translating from informal to professional language, accompanying them to appointments, and ensuring they receive accurate and effective communication in various settings. My passion for social service continues to drive me as I remain actively engaged. I am committed to using my skills, knowledge, and life experience to assist people with special needs, seniors, refugees, and immigrants in successfully settling in Canada.
I can communicate at all levels and establish robust relationships with agencies and partners.
